How to help those with eyesight issues: The Clarksville Eye Center
Clarksville, Tennessee — There is no question it’s been a challenging couple of months for the Clarksville Ophthalmology Center.
The center has had to shut down for an undisclosed reason, the staff has been forced to reduce hours, and a few patients have seen their insurance coverage disappear.
It was an intense time.
For the staff, it was tough.
Some have gone months without seeing patients.
Some patients have been unable to get a referral to another Ophthalmologist or optometrist because they cannot afford the $2,500 to $3,000 to be treated there.
Some doctors have been forced out of the profession altogether.
And some patients have suffered long waits.
Clarksville Oceanside Clinic in Clarksville , Tennessee, is one of the many hospitals across the country that are closing and closing fast.
Its closure was announced in May.
The news was so bad that it sparked a petition on Change.org calling for the closure of all hospitals in the country.
The clinic has seen more than 2,000 patients leave.
Many have gone without a referral.
Some patients have not been able to get an appointment with another eye specialist.
And for many of those patients, the only alternative to going to the eye doctor is to go to the hospital.
The patients have asked the Ophthalmic Center to help them find other Ophthalms, and we’re here to help.
This clinic has been a lifesaver for many patients, said Dr. Daniella Kochenberg.
I’ve always believed in our patients, she said.
I have seen firsthand what a difference they make.
We see some of our patients come in with no medical condition whatsoever, and they are able to do the same thing, she explained.
We don’t know how many patients we will see this year, but we are seeing them every day.
It is our responsibility to make sure patients can get the care they need, she continued.
We are just going to be here to support them, and if we don’t do our job, we’re going to lose patients and we will lose money.
I don’t care what the cost is, it’s going to have to be paid.
And we have to have the resources available to provide them with the care that they need.
The OphthalMuse has been helping to organize this community-based campaign.
The group has set up a website and Facebook page to organize people to help with this crisis.
They’ve set up fundraisers and a Facebook page with help.
We have a group of about 150 people that we’re trying to mobilize.
We are trying to reach out to people, especially to people who have seen this news, and say, please, if you have been in need of an eye doctor, please get in touch with us.
The more we can help you, the better chance we have of helping those patients.
The Clarksville Medical Center has closed, and the clinic is now the only one of its kind in the state.
The hospital will be operating at full capacity.
The Ophthalmos are now preparing to take over.
