How to be a good ophthalmologist
Posted December 19, 2019 09:51:09If you’ve ever wondered why people are seeing so many eye injuries, you might want to take a look at this article, published today by ophthalmic journal the Journal of Ophthalmology.
The authors of the article suggest that while the risk of ocular injuries is very low, there are several factors that can contribute to that.
For instance, they say that people with an unhealthy lifestyle, including smoking, eating too much and drinking alcohol are all risk factors.
They also point out that people who are physically active, who exercise frequently and who are not regularly watching TV may be at greater risk of developing eye injuries.
As for why people have been getting eye injuries so much, the authors say that the eyes are the “most vulnerable organs in the body, and they are most vulnerable to injury” in the short term, when the eyes aren’t being properly protected.
The reason is because the eye is the most sensitive tissue, which can damage it more quickly than other tissues.
In the long term, the eye can be damaged if it’s not properly protected, and that’s what can happen when a person has a fracture.
It can also lead to permanent damage, so it’s important that you have regular eye exams to check your eye health and determine whether you should seek immediate medical attention.
