Which player will dominate Lahey?
As they continue their recovery from the latest eye injury, the Olyroos are still without the services of the top goal scorer in the world, Nicolas Jaar, who suffered an ACL tear.
Jaar was a central figure in Lahey’s resurgence and was named Player of the Month last week for his outstanding performances in Lahedonia.
The 27-year-old midfielder has been named in the squad for the second leg of the first round clash against Porto on Saturday (21:00 CET).
However, his inclusion is a significant blow to the Lahey side, who are still struggling to find their form after missing out on the Copa America in 2018.
Lahey have won just two of their six league matches, while Porto have won their past three matches.
Lahey are currently third in the Primera División, two points adrift of third-placed Valencia, but their form has been on the rise this season, with the Osters losing just once in nine games.
Despite the setback, Lahey have not conceded a goal in their last two games and have taken just three of their past five away matches.
The Olyros are currently fifth in La Liga, two behind the leaders, Athletic Club de Bilbao, but with four games remaining the Oster owners must hope to get back on track before the international break.
