How to Get the Best Price on Ophthalmological Services in Delaware
A good eye care plan will save you money and save your health care, according to a new study by the Washington Post.
The Post reported on Thursday that the study of nearly 2,000 patients found that the best-rated plans had lower co-payments and lower deductibles.
For example, the Blue Cross Blue Shield BlueChoice plan in Delaware had the lowest co-payment of $1,300, which is nearly 30 percent lower than the average of the best plans.
Another plan in the study, the Affordable Care Act-funded Community Care Blue Cross Plan in Vermont, had the best overall score of 98 percent.
However, those two plans were far less expensive than the most expensive plans, which were the BlueCross BlueShield BlueChoice plans in New York City and New Jersey.
Here are the best and worst plans in the states studied.
